Its at 3.47 million !!! With next week's numbers, it'll cross 3.5 million and outsell God of War II. I am genuinely happy for the franchise, and I think God of War III is the best God of War game, but to outsell God of War II in such a short time doesn't feel right...it was one of the best fucking PS2 games ever made, and I prefer the story in it more than III.
And if it keeps at this rate, its gonna outsell God of War 1 at the end of the year.

Nice! God of War III deserves all the sales possible, one of my favorite ps3 game. I wonder if GoW Collection is actually expanding the userbase for GoW III or if it's just people buying Gow I and II again.

I think Sony were extremely smart with releasing the collection..it probably did expand the fanbase.

Oh they really were. "Easy" money and they bundled the game this BF right? Opening doors for bigger sales for God of War III. Funny thing this week I was talking to a friend and how he wanted to play GoW III but wasn't going to buy it because he never played I and II... then I showed him GoW Collection, and now he's going to buy it. Would love to know how many of these are actually newcomers, but we will never know.
