I'd tend to disagree with the author. Though I don't think food alone makes you fat your life style and mental make up as well as stress all cause you to gain weight. I gotta say I ate healthy and excersized running for an hour to hour and a half each day. I tried so hard to loose weight and I lost one pound.
So food may contribute to making you fat but it isn't the whole reason.
However this man is very smart whether he's right or not I bet hundreds of readers will pick up his book anyways. People want to hear their bad eating habits aren't making them fat and they'll spend money on a book that re-assures them.
