U know this generation the PS2 was 2nd behind the wii for best selling console for a while. I think it dropped to 3rd or 4th this year. But anyways when xbox 360 was out PS2 was still the best selling console for 2006. I actuallythink sony should have dleayed the launch of the ps3 until maybe 2007-2008. If they did that the PS3 would have been $300-$400 out of the gate and games like MGS4, killzone 2, and LittlBigPlanet, etc. would be all coming out around launch time. I personally think PS4 should launch 2 years after the competition to keep the price low and demolish the launch lin up with killer apps. The console would also feel new since 2 years feels a longer time than 1 year. Its not like 3rd party devs would stop supporting the PS3 either. I think they would start using PS3 as the lead dev console more so they can make sure all of the games run the same on the consoles.
