Why will the 200$ price point affect sales so massively? It only gave a temporary, debatable boost to Wii last year. Also, successful Nintendo consoles have a history of selling well after their successors. Wii'll be no different. Besides, looking at its manufacturing costs, it may even sell for 50$ when all's said and done with. It'll pretty much never stop selling then. |
you clearly have no idea about the true strength of ps3
the low price point will help it immensely in EMEAA, it's just a matter of time. compared to the competition PS3 is in a lot of markets that have a huge PS following, the only issue they have is the price point because it's just way way too expensive for them at this point with conversion rates
Wii and 360 will die out within a short time period their successor comes out in comparison, IF we follow how it has been in the past. PS3 won't die that soon, I can see it selling good to ok numbers even in 2015.
And a 100 price drop did wonders for the PS3 since last year, you can't deny that. Not all consoles sales respond the same way as you may think.
