Yeah, who would have thought in Jan this year would have turned out better SW wise for the 360 ... same will happen next year IMO despite the flood of PS3 games (of which most will be delayed or turn out not as great as hyped to be)

The flood of PS3 games aren't about sales, but variety and offering. "Most" games won't be delayed "overhyped" (though you can't really have a realistic opinion without owning the system).

It's just in past years, the 360 had more lined up than 2011 looks to have. It's not an insult, just an observation, and people who are fair rarely comment on it.

Wasn't talking about sales remotely. PS3 had several games delayed this holiday into next year, so much so it only had GT5 :-S and even that wasn't a dead cert only a month ago.

I didn't say the games were bad, just overhyped (and they are, don't need to play them to guage fan reaction)

At your last comment, wrong. Until E3 2009 MS rarely gave out news on upcoming games, but decided to for 2010 for some reason.

Well overhyped is subjective. And again, I wouldn't expect a realistic opinion without experience, but I guess that's just me. The only other game delayed was LBP 2, which was smart given what it had to go up against. Considering what kind of year PS3 had, I don't think anyone is going to complain about what it did in 2010. And outside of Halo: Reach, MS didn't have many core games for the holiday either  :-S Doesn't matter though, as neither fanbase was complaining.

Your last sentence isn't true. I was excited about plenty of upcoming games in 2007 & 2008 for the 360 because of pre-hype. Microsoft doesn't announce as many games as Nintendo or Sony, true, but they do have game announcements. As I've said, even sites backing MS have noticed that 2011 looks a little empty at the moment. With the VGAs, however, I'm sure they've got stuff to announce, which is great.

MS doesn't announce because they don't make much games..

Kinda true but I also agree with CGI.

Honestly, for 2010, the exclusive[not on PC]/first party games this year has been pretty even between the X360 and PS3 and that was with PS3 (IN MY OPINION) having the weakest line up for over two years now. (2008 and 2009 domination while 2010 was just ..a draw at best). But to make up for the draw in 2010, the PS3 line up 2011 seems far more impressive than the 360. Sure Microsoft doesnt announce games as early as Sony but I still believe we'll see less games on the 360 next year as oposed to the PS3. Its just logic, Microsoft doesn't have as many IPs and we're not talking crap games only quantity here, the games I count are all quality on previous installements.

Im sure the 360 will have some great games next year nonetheless :)!
