If you look at weeks 6-10, it's not. Halo 3 has stronger legs in those weeks. Reach has the bigger opening, hence the higher sales, but going by the numbers weekly, it is Reach being outpaced.

Reach launched 2 weeks earlier in Septemeber than Halo 3, so Halo 3 got the holiday boost 2 weeks earlier.

Halo 3 week 9 sales must be compared to Halo Reach week 11 sales. 172,621 vs. 179,251 (same time of the year)

That's fine and dandy, but I was going by the evidence put fourth. It may be ahead (Reach), but according to that chart, it isn't.

Basically, that chart isn't the best representation of the full story.

Yeah, it's definitely not a good representation. Once Halo 3's sales drop down (after the holiday season finishes), Reach's sales will still be high (as it will still be in the holiday season for those 2 weeks).

I think once things settle down again (after the holidays), then that will be the best time to compare sales.
