My Enzo, even on stock and sport: soft tyres was more than enough to take on the GT World Championship against Race Cars with almost similar BHP. It's by far my favourite car in the entire game so far 
Also to the OP, try to gold the Super License, you'll get the GT-R spec V that was used in GT Academy TT demo. It drives and handles like a beast
