I'm my opinion, outside the Licenses and Challenges, the A.I is rather fine.
During the GT World Championship, I had a very aggressive opponent (whose name was U.Vettel 
), who would always try to use my slipstream, brake late to get the inside of the corner and out-manouver my Enzo with his XJ220 LM Race Car. Also he rarely used the same driving line twice.
