I'm unemployed right now, but I'm Canadian. Its not laziness its the fact that nobody will hire me. I hit every ad I could find on CraigsList. I applied at every game and video store, I even applied at McDonalds. Nobody will hire me. What I don't get is I have alot of work experiance had a job since I was sixteen. But nope they don't care.
Heck I applied at FutureShop and BestBuy, I used to write movie reviews and game reviews for our cities second biggest paper. I had references galore, but nope nobody would hire me. I handed out about 200 resumes everywhere and no job.
Now am I still looking? Well holiday hiring is over so I am lazy right now. But come hiring season again or the next time I see an ad in a store window, Newspaper or perhaps craigslist I'll be out handing out more resumes. Heck I couldn't afford to renew my Security Liscence so thats one less job I can apply for!
