What happened was a case of nostalgia. The game is getting mediocre reviews but people are buying it because of nostalgic factors. I thought it would affect the game negatively, but it seems like my original 5.5 million prediction is more in line with what will really happen. GT fans should really be worried about GT6 sales though, the poor quality of GT5 will leave a poor sales in people's mouths and Forza is coming up and coming up fast.

And it has zilch to do with nostalgia. The reviews will hardly have an effect on GT (even though the reviews are hardly mediocre [84 Meta isn't mediocre]) because GT is a quality franchise, and the gamers are loving it, which is what matters. Mario kart Wii has an 82 on Metacritic (LOWER than GT). Look at the sales, which would have nothing to do with nostalgia since MK: Double Dash couldn't dream of such sales.

It's just hard to take what you say seriously.

It's easier if you do what I do and take w/e he says as just pure bs at this point. :P why make life complicated. Just ignore his posts, his LT prediction will also will be thrown to shame in an year or so I think.
