Well, the damage model is there from the get go, especially on Arcade. I trashed a Rally car to get one of the trophies and it was left with no doors, no bonnet and totally deformed, though it took me a lot of time to achieve that kind of damage.

In A-Spec, I've yet to see a significative amount of damage, though from what it seems, the damage model in A-Spec is at it's fullest in the Extreme Series.

Oh well, on to golding the S-License and then finishing both the Gran Turismo Rally and the Nascar series afterwards XD

With the upcoming damage model patch, it should provide more robust damage across the board, and without that much effort.

I just did that intentionally to get the trophies. I was actually against the idea of implementing damage in GT, since GT's not about crashing cars, but to drive as well as you can, especially those skills are needed if you're trying to do well in the licenses and some of the special events.

I would love to see those people who say that they just bump ride in any GT game to get a gold trophy in the Lap Battle License tests
