Kinect experience comes to PSN?
Kung Fu Live brings sensor-style tech to PlayStation

From tomorrow you'll be able to experience Kinect functionality via the PlayStation Network.

That's if developer Virtual Air Guitar Company's Kung Fu Live lives up to expectations.

The PSN beat 'em up uses body tracking tech through the PlayStation Eye to achieve similar results to Microsoft's Kinect, the developer told CVG.

"We're a small company but since this is the year of motion gaming we're pretty much standing in the middle of it by bringing the same kind of functionality to the PlayStation.

"We're doing a similar type of skeletal tracking and we are using a normal 2D camera, whereas Kinect has a depth camera, but the result is the same.

"It's similar technology but obviously the hardware is different."

I will get it some day to experience.
