OMG!!! Dallas loses to the Redskins on a week when they're playing for absolutely nothing - it must be the Redskins' year!!! :|

Redskins are hot - yes. Gibbs is a relic from a time forgotten. He will eventually make another critical judgement call at the worst time. Check back next year, Washington. Yes, they won four in a row, but they HAD to win those games if they wanted ANY shot at getting into the postseason (well, maybe not the last game against Dallas because they were already a lock after the Vikings packed it in - but they didn't know that until kickoff time)

Giants??? Oh please - in EVERY single game they play, there's always a point where Eli turns back into Eli. Look at that Patriots game! I despise the Giants in every way but I was rooting them on (nauseating myself in the process) and, as usual, as the pressure mounted, Eli folded. Of course, they needed to play the Patriots perfectly on a weekend when they were playing for nothing so I'll give them credit for that, but in the end - what cost them that game? Another pick by Eli that gave every ounce of momentum to the Pats - you could feel that entire game shift at that point.

Dallas has been playing like crap since the Packer game - that's a fact. But I also think they've been playing like a team that felt after they beat the Packers, their season was already done and they were just killing time until the playoffs. Terry Glenn is back now with TO lined up on the opposite side - if he can shake the rust, expect ALOT of catches for him as TO absorbs all the double-team (expect another TO meltdown when Glenn gets more attention). And of course, there's Marion Barber - if you're a fan of football, you've gotta love the way that guy hits people.

Green Bay maybe the only 'wild card' - who knows when Father Time will catch up with Brett? They came up short in Dallas, but there is nothing written in stone that says it'll happen again. I don't put alot of stock in the 'Brett never won there' stuff - I've been to Texas stadium and it's not like it's an intimidating place. If you've ever been to a game there, you'd know what I'm talking about - Texas is PASSIONATE about football, but not in the drunken-fan way - they are ANALYTICAL, study formations, and are second-guessing decisions before a play is even run.

Those are my front-runners for the NFC and I see:

2nd round
Dallas 27 - Washington 17
GB 21 - Giants 7

Championship
Dallas 31 - GB 24

In the AFC, it'll eventually be another Colts/Pats meeting. I haven't followed either team that closely (other than the obvious Pats 'undefeated' crap), but I guess I'd have to give the nod to NE.

Championship
NE 35 - Colts 31

SuperBowl
Dallas 28 - NE 24

Not that they aren't playing for anything BS, they played their starters for over a half and Romo's tantrum on the sideline wasn't faked, the cowboys are going to lose big
