First of all, it's only $30 US a month for two accounts for WoW.
If that is still (understandably so) more than you want to pay (I get my money's worth but I play A LOT) then the only other thing I can think of atm is to buy a turn based strategy game and make it co-op. I played all the way through Fire Emblem - Radiant Dawn and half way through hard mode with a friend as 'tactical advisor'
