RPG elements include a consistent overworld (complete with "dungeons"), experience system for character leveling, exploration based puzzle solving (though that's more of a JRPG trope), heavy NPC interaction, multiple party members, complex subsystems (cooking, cards, etc), a currency system, inventory system (complete with spell/healing/boosting items)... still waiting on that RPG definition btw...

I disagree. Zelda is the seminal Action/RPG.

Actually is an Action Adventure. There are some RPG elements, and you can find better on Zelda II, but the other games not to much.
Also, Okami was a game in the Zelda genre.
