As for how games work on Kinect, I couldn't get into a discussion with techy stuff like that at all. I don't care enough about the inner workings of Kinect, EyeToy, PSEye, or what have you to be able to argue what system of engineering for a game increases performance. I'm all about creative direction and design Kinect Sports also works incredibly well, though the menus are twitchy. I assume then it also uses Kinectic style game design? |
From what I played it doesn't work that incredibly well, but one can always judge it differently, its ok. But you can see here the metacritic review and I think people agree the game is somewhat good but isn't properly a technical marvel:

It takes time to recognize what you're doing, resulting on a little lag, and the menu pointer isn't much intuitive too.
I played the Gamescom build, and we had to clap our hands to do some stuff too on the menus but the thing wouldn't recognize any clapping and at the end I was there clapping in the air like an idiot.
Don't know if the clapping thing was removed for the final version or fixed or something, haven't got my hands on the retail build yet.
