But for some reason all anyone talks about is gears 3. when 10 or more amazing first party exclusive title are coming for ps3 all of which are probably better quality then gears 3 will be, and I dont just say that with no reason behind it. look at the quality of the top sony games(uncharted, god of war III, Gran Turismo, Heavy Rain, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Modnation Racers, white knight chronicles, MAG, Infamous,) versus xbox (Halo, Gears, Fable, Forza), its undeniable that sony has better quality games even if you dont like that particular genre you can just tell. Really I could go on for pages about free online(and equal if not better in some aspects to LIVE), Blu-Ray, better quality games, superior procesing power, wifi included with all models, hardrive included with all models, reliable consoles (no rrod), better variety of games, battery free wireless controllers, 3D, playstation move( the most accurate and applicable to traditional games motion controller on the market) |
I actually don't own Gears now. I have Halo Reach, but no other Halos. For games of relevance to me, Project Gotham is a particular title I happen to like on the XBox system, because it started out on the Dreamcast. I mentioned what I mentioned, trying to find the most iconic elements of the system in question. Is Gran Turismo THE flagship franchise for the PS3, the way the Halo brand is on the 360 or isn't it? That is the reason for mentioning it. Oh yes, also, my top thing of choice for doing now is Game Room on the 360 console. That and Pinball FX2.
Also, in regards to other things, were you a Playstation fan before or after the Playstation 3? Prior to this generation, the original XBox was the superior system from a hardware perspective. It had superior online support, and also was more reliable. But, for someone who is a Playstation fan, that didn't matter. The PS2 was the console of choice for a number of reasons. If you are a fan of a console, your reasons for supporting the console will change, based on the strengths of it. If you desire certain features, then you switch companies that better support those features. So, I try to find out why.
