One word: budget, as in how much do you have to spend.

That will give you the neighborhood to look in, whether it's up to $50 US, $50-100, etc.

Since it's the holidays, then you can start looking for the best available deals since what is typically the best deal in general, may not be the best deal on a given day once you see what's on sale.

My budget is £50 ($80) and I was told that I would need a 'slim' or smaller graphics card for my pc. Whatever that means..



I play PC and PS3. The best of both worlds.
