There ARE PS2 fans out there who think $299 non b/c PS3 is too expensive

This is one thing I never understood about people who demanded ps2bc back, if you already own a ps2, why do you really need on in your ps3? Why not go the whole hog and have your 360 in your ps3 as well?

Well it is nice not having to use any memory cards, or having to worry about hooking up another console to your tv. Plus the PS3 w/BC can slightly upscale PS2 games (I believe).The DS3 controllers are also wireless.

If my (slim) PS3 had BC, then I wouldn't really bother playing my PS2 games on my PS2 and I would use the PS3 instead for convenience. I play my PS1 games on my PS3 instead of my PS2 (just so I don't have to worry about moving stuff around on memory cards, wireless controllers are nice, etc.)
