If this was some government group they'd pick something hugely damaging like child molestation. Or hacking child porn onto his computer, getting a warrant to check his computer for some copyright infringements based on some leaked documents with copyrights and then busting him for the illegally downloaded child porn.
A LOT of people sadly wouldn't even see it as that big a deal, I doubt he'd serve much if any time, and probably just have to pay a fine. |
Maybe they're going with a less outrageous WTF approach, that could seem too much like a set up.
Also, considering the rape charges, women make up things like this all the time. My mom has a friend who seriously hurt hurself and went to the police to press charges against him. She did this in order to blackmail him into not leaving her, else she'd use this incident to get sole custody of their child (which is sad, considering that she tried to kill the kid, and her husband didn't report that to the police). Women can sure be crazy.
Considering those women describe themselves as radical feminists... I don't know, that seems suspicious for several reasons.
