Anyway, with your "for selling a lot" point, aren't you basically saying that WS will be remembered? It makes sense, too, since if 100m people played a game that was quite a new experience at a time, it will most likely be remembered more than a game that sold 20m and was a great experience. Besides, MGS would have to rely on a pretty tiny base to be remembered and most likely would not be very remembered at all even if it emotionally connected with almost all of its audience.

The problem with comparing wii sports to something liek CoD is that with wii sports its a game u dont get a choice it buying when i got my wii (though i sold it the year after) i played it for about half an hour before moving onto a dif game. Where as with cod the 20 million people that got it, got it with the intention of actually wanting to own it and play the game. I'm shore the toys in happy meals sell million but no one remembers most of them because they didnt buy it wanting it, was just a freebie that comes with the pack ^^
