1) USA did a lot more than you think in WWII (in Europe), plus they took out Japan by themselves. I know Russia (Soviet Union) did the most in Europe but USA did their part as well.

2) And USA could easily win a war against China, especially if they were allowed to use the full extent of their resources. By that I mean things like carpet bombings of highly populated cities in China like Shanghai and Beijing.

1) That's a bit off-topic, but consider this: a) US involvement into WW2 was highly justified (patriotic rhetorics like "those japanese bastards perfidious attacked Pearl Harbor, let's strike them back, yay!", though at the same time it was a big f*ck up of US intelligence, the big reason why attack was "sudden"), to the contrary a direct invasion to China, if that what you're proposing, is hard to justify at this point, unless a brilliant provocation opertion is executed; b) if US would have involved into WW2 in Europe from day one they'd have steamrolled by Wehrmacht just like French, Brits or as a matter of fact Soviets in first year of war, which means a complete and shameful withdrawal of US forces from Europe (I'm not a big expert on war in Pacific Ocean, but judging by US military operations in 1944-1945 in Europe, US army seriously lack experience in big on-land operations and pale in comparison to the Soviets in the same time frame from other side of the front). BTW speaking about war against Japan, read more on "Manchurian Strategic Offensive Operation".

2) Really, I don't mind pave your way to self-destruction =)
