There is climate change and the country most impacted by it is China. China has 80% of the world's factories and has extremely high rates of pollution. There is no such thing as human rights in China, they are not even allowed to vote. The water in most parts of China is contaminated. So long as climate change is not directly impacting your life it is all fine and dandy.
China produces the world's goods, government oppresses its people and the goods get sold all around the world. Big businesses and Chinese government: win, win.
China has a 200 million Strong Red Army. That is a lot of man power. China has been building its military for 20 years. Navy, Army and Military are growing day by day. China growing stronger as it becomes more industrialised and consumes more and more raw materials from the mineral export nations.
China becomes a super power it will want to expand its nation by consent or conquest. The US will have to decide on whether to allow China to expand its territory or confront the Red Chinese juggernaut.
