Well for the PS3 you can hold the power button down until there's two beeps, and it should automatically ask if you want to use HDMI, then it'll automatically turn 1080p. For the 360 put on the AV cords, go into console settings, then display settings, change the input to HDMI, swap the cables, and list it as 1080p. For the PC, you might need to start in VGA then go to the display settings in Control Panel. Try to swap to HDMI if theres an option them plug it in, or just start up with HDMI and change the resolution from there.
