Yeap, Kinect sold as much as 4K (4,000 aka Four Thousand) FW in the whole of Japan(with a gaming population of 34.4million). Great numbers.

Meanwhile, MHP3 is getting the largest preorder ever in the history of Japan gaming. It barely pushed through Pokemon B/W preorders no, but punters are undecided over whether MPH3 will break B/W FW sales as Capcom is stated to tend to undershipped highly anticipated numbers. Still it is logical and common sense (unless you dont have it or yours is just weird) that legs will push MHP3 over sales of DQIX in Japan.

Thus, comparing MHP3 to Kinect, I will have to say MHP3 is performing terribly.. Kinect is performing so amazingly that it puts MHP3 to shame. Oh.. the shame that Capcom has to endure..

Anyway, I have a tough time believing that MH can have a preorder to sale ratio as Pokemon or even DQ. It could happen, mind you, but I just personally doubt it. Also, nothing can be said about its legs quite yet. No MH has ever done even close to this much FW, has it? This could mean it'll fall apart as soon as its second week. It's unlikely, but still a possibility.
