I'm little biased cause I was born and raised in S. Korea - though my dad is from the North. Older Koreans like me hate the Commies and very thankful for the Americans.
If North Korea collapses without military conflict, S. Korea will need help from many other countries to establish a unified democratic Korea. it'll take couple of trillion or more dollars many years of teaching the North Koreans about the democratic system and capitalism.
S. Korea and China have a good business relationship now so I don't think China will mind much of the unification, but they will demand Americans to leave. I personally think the American troops should stay in unified Korea until everything settles down in Asia - which is never.
