Going to get some hate for this - especially from some guys I respect here. Well, to you - respect my opinion:

Heavy Rain

Didn't enjoy it one drop. It's possible that I was in the wrong head space when I put the 4-5 hours in. I didn't really like the story or the way it was told. The gameplay was really no fun and too slow. It felt restrictve.

Hmmm, let's hear it from the fans: Should I try it again? I didn't like God of War 3 that much the first time either, but it ended up being my Game of the Year. Anyone want to convince me to pick it up again? (I sold my first copy)

How did that happen???

Once I got into the mood of the game; How Kratos is portrayed as the ultimate bringer of distruction, how he kills EVERYONE, how he never backs away and brutally kills anyone in his way... The jaw-dropping technical mastery of Santa Monica and their full use of the PS3...

Look, I believe you have to binge GoW. You have to play it through and 1 or 2 days straight. The continuity aspect is essential in experiencing it properly.

I lent my PS3 to my Xbuddies (lol) and some of them are also quite into super Hi res pc gaming. They all sat spellbound through whole game at the brutality of Kratos. I remember this one moment while my bud was taking down Poseidon; Everyone was ooooh-ing, aaaaah-ing and laughing their asses off at the spectacle. Then, right in the end when you're looking through Poseidon's eyes and the prompt is ''L3 R3'' I realized: Good God this is f(_)cking unbelievable.
