Final Fantasy XIII all that hyped, all that wait for a game which didn't try to innovate at all and to be frank just went back-wards the characters were a pile of donkey piss, the gameplay is still your basic RPG fare after creating your action slots and the story was pretty underwhelming.
Final Fantasy really needs to be stripped down with the character and story hopefully adapting a mature stance, as they need to appease FF generation which has grown up.
