There are indeed more and more hits every year, with the sales of titles being distributed among fewer and fewer titles. It's pretty scary tbh, as Christmas seems pretty much reserved for just COD and Assassin's Creed, and we've seen what can happen in summer with one juggernaut (Red Dead Redemption) pretty much canibalizing the sales for everyone else.

I'm not doing much to contribute either, the last game I bought was released in May (Prince of Peria, FS) and I haven't even played it yet, along with Just Cause 2 and Batman:AA. I just can't keep up, and I'll end up playing 2010's biggest games in 2011 lol.

It has plus sides, like games now releasing on a 12 month schdule rather then all at xmas like in the PS2 days, at least. Certainly choking publishers a bit though, I've already got the impression Ubisoft keep delaying Future Warrior simply because they haven't got a clue when the hell to release the thing and for it to be 'safe'.

It's only a matter of time until GTAV comes along and ****s everyone up too lol. Would love to see it launch next xmas between Cod 8 and AC3.

me too, we need someone like EA with BF3 and Take two with an GTA to Crush Call of Duty and Put Ubisoft back into place with Assassins creed.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
