32. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES)
Hush Baby Mario don't you cry, Yoshi's trying to swallow a Shy Guy....
This game is cute, but it's utterly brilliant. It's also a nice departure from what we'd seen before, where Mario was the hero. For most of this game, Mario (in baby form of course) is just a passenger on Yoshi's back, and it's because of this game that Yoshi ranks as one of my most favourite characters in gaming, and I'm sure many others share the same sentiment for the same reasons.
