Cell phones disabled while driving?

I think implementing such technology would be stupid. As you said their are several occasions where you need to have a phone. Now I think that auto manufacturers should all have built in connections to cell phones. So that you can plug your phone in and use it hands free.

I think the US should implement phone laws like my province did. You can get fined like 300$ for talking on your cell while driving. Its a great way for the Police department to make money and to be honest it deters people from TXT driving. Barely anybody talks on their cells while driving now.

My best friend called his boss once and the boss picked up and was driving. My buddy hears a siren and the guy hangs up. He got busted for talking while driving. Where as my pastor has his phone hooked up to his car's audio system. He can drive and chat legally and without holding the phone in one hand and being distracted.

I think making cell phone driving illegal is the first and only step the governments should take. Making cars cut cell phones out is just irrational!
