Publicly speaking against Chinese government may result in the death penalty or long prison sentence.
I can not believe that there are people who actually believe that China is a peaceful democratic nation with capitalist free market system and respects human rights. China is politically a Communist nation that practices economic Anarcho-Capitalism. China hands out long prison sentences for political activists/government protesters and death penalty is frequently handed out by Chinese government. Economic saboteurs are given death penalty in China, just like Stalin's Russia. There is no such thing as human rights or civil liberties is ultra conservative China.

I just think you're talkin to the wrong people :P they've done some good things in the past, but maybe for the wrong reasons as well. if we're talkin WW2, we can talk about the nuke bomb and the post war agreements which have shifted the world to what it is today. As long as we are talking about a government structure, everybody is a looser, if people still don't understand that ALL of them suck because they are all run by "HUMANS with self ambitions!" then they need some serious mind shocks, and that's most people in the world actually.
