Monster Hunter Tri. Despite all the hate i gave that game and still would give that game (Rathalos, Rathian, and Diablos are all still broken as fuck and whoever designed them needs to take a long hard look at his life), it consumed far more of my time than any other release this year and really sucked me in in a way few games have done
