Why don't companies re-create amazing games?

This Gen is so full of shooters I think it's about time we can some remakes, new platformers, adventure games, etc...

Activision currently owns the right to the Crash IP, and if they started doing remakes imagine what people on forums like this would say considering how much stick they currently get. Few companies get away with making remakes

Actually they did the revisioned GoldenEye and it is getting postive press and least on VGChatz and my personal opinion has been recieved well. If all they did was up the graphics on Crash id probably buy it too. Id probably have to see the gameplay and everything if they did a revision though.
