IGN said: The characters are routinely awful and uninteresting, the storytelling is a jumbled mess that meanders through bland subplot – and then there's the gameplay, which consists of essentially moving in a straight line for the first twenty hours, repeatedly hitting X. |
Yet Final Fantasy 13 received an 8.9 rating from IGN. How can a journalistic company praise a game os much in its review and then in a "biggest disappointment of the year" bash it saying it's the worst RPGsthey've played this gen. I'll agree with the fact that it's one of the worst RPGs as it's one of the worst I've played in my life, but why the initial high review score? We already know. All those FF13 scores are more than likely payoffs to give such a bad game such high ratings.
GT5 received such praise from them yet it's being bashed just for how long it's taken. GT5 is a good racing game and it really shouldn't matter how long it's taken to be developed. Test Drive Unlimited 2 hasn't taken as long but it'll be almost as long and I'm going to still think that's an amazing game, atleast as long as it's as good or close to as good as the original.
