There was a cool motion control area where one side had kinect and the other side had move. I never tried kinect before so I decided to try it. It was a soccer type game. I personally did not like that specific soccer game because well it seemed as if kinect was not reading my movements clearly. Then I went to go try the Move since i didn't try that before either. It was that table tennis game that I heard so much about. It was hard!!! But I was still amazed at the accuracy of it when i moved around my paddle. Anyways what i noticed was that many people were actually getting frustrated with kinect and going over to play the Move. While some people were playing kinect only a crowd of 3-5 people were wathing them. Then when people were playing disc golf for move there was a crowd of about 10-12 people watching. It seemed that people actually liked it. So who knows, maybe Move might actually be some competition to kinect here in the States. |
Except that the CEO of Best BUy calls out everything BUT Move as a big seller today:
""So far, so good," Best Buy's CEO Brian Dunn said just hours after his stores' 5 a.m. opening. Dunn, who greeted eager bargain shoppers at the Eden Prairie store Friday morning, said the lines at stores were longer this year than last. Among the popular items were Best Buy's $400 Wii console and LCD HDTV bundle, smart phones and Microsoft's new Kinect for the Xbox 360, he said."
