Pretender. Palin's playing the money game, plain and simple. She could make more with a month full of speaking engagements right now than a whole year as President, and that counts out her books, top-rated TLC reality show, and anything else she can slap her name on
If she resigned from the Alaska governorship because things weren't going her way, how could she possibly want the pressures of the presidency? Even the most popular presidents had their dedicated foes in their day (like FDR or Reagan), and she's definitely not going to rally the nation like either of those two did
Hinting at a presidential run helps to hype her name in the short run, increasing her profit off this whole affair
