Graphics memory amount bears no realtion to its performance. They sell $40 cards with 1GB now, doesn't make them not suck. What's the model name?
But, @OP, that is the kind of laptop I was talking about for performance over portability. I'm sure you'd want a higher-clocked dual instead of a lower-clocked quad however, for gaming. Games can't use 8 threads on a quad HT.
