Did individuals think there would be no blowback for hyping this game as the second coming of Jesus Christ and 2nd coming for the PS3? Well, metacritic and those "0" scores are the equal and opposite reaction to it.

You make it sound like PS3 fans are the only ones deserving backlash for UBER HYPING stuff when 360 fans are just as bad if not more infamous in this department.

PS3 users are more ubiquitous and vocal than 36 0 users. It is a general trend I see from VGChartz, to Gamespot, to IGN, and on.
I don't recall the Alan Wake hype because I was too busy buying Red Dead Redemption.
Neither side is innocent, yet it appears to me that PS3 users are off their proverbial hinges this generation, while Nintendo users are the most polite and respectful. 360 users fall somewhere in between with a tad more devious nature because we know exactly what buttons to push to get emotional screeds.
Whereas toying around in the Nintendo forums will garner a beat-down, logical "lets look at the top 20 best selling games of this gen" reaction; toying around in the Sony forums produces enough emotion to make Clint Eastwood cry.

Like I said maybe you should stop bashing PS3 fans cause clearly you didn't see the ammount of trashing PS3 fans got back in its early years from the "GOOD HEARTED" 360 fans, you only see 1 side of the story here.

I owned grew up with a PS1 and PS2, so I don't see it as being "one-sided" considering my experience with Sony. Yes, I do own a 360 right now, but I don't see that as biasing me one way or another because between the PS1 and PS2, I have spent more years gaming on Sony systems than a Microsoft system.
10 years between PS1 and PS2 compared to 2 years on the 360. In light of my experience, I just cannot say I am biased against one system over another.
Same goes for Nintendo where between the NES, SNES, and N64, I spent over a decade playing Nintendo consoles.
As for not being critical of Microsoft, I have been but in a more reasoned fashion regarding Microsoft's lack of attention to developing 1st party titles to define the Xbox experience. I can't bash Microsoft like Sony and Nintendo because they don't have the history of success and failure. The 360 as a 2nd generation Microsoft console is a smash success, while both Nintendo and Sony have reached the top and fell drastically with the GameCube and PS3 (in comparison to the PS2).
Is it fair? No, like life very little is fair, but I will try my best to keep it civil.
