well gt5 is great as the review score states, and I am enjoying it, but like others said, sony hyped it as the second coming of christ, and like the quality was going to be unrivaled by any other racing game this gen. Just the fact of how damage is handled in the game is reason enough to be a bit disapointed (specially with that video they showed a while back)
if they didn´t want anyone disapointed they shouldnt have hyped it so much.
I´m not saying the game is bad at all, but that I can understand the disapointment (and yes, the time it took to develop the game was bound to influence the disapointment, it is quite obvious)
edit: I wouldnt put it in the top 10 disapointments of the year though. And I think it is unfair to put it so HIGH when the game has not even been out for a week
