For all the time and effort that went into Gran Turismo 5, it should have been #1.

I guess my definition of "disappointment" differs from everyone else, but for me, a disappointment is expecting a good game and getting a mess, I expected a good game and got a great game.

As someone else asked before, why isn't Fallout NV on the list?

That's one way to look at it, but you gotta remember this formula: T * 0.5 plus 8. A game needs atleast an 8 to be considered good according to the Metacritian Standards and for each year the game has been in development it needs to add 0.5 to the final score. GT5 needed atleast 10.5 to come out as a non disappointment.

Also, this Ignian law is important to know: when you are aiming for hits; the bigger game you bash, the better.
