Black Rock Shooter: The Game In Development For PSP

Yes, Imageepoch is behind the Black Rock Shooter game, tentatively titled, Black Rock Shooter: The Game. This weeks issue of Famitsu explains the PSP game is set in 2051 where an alien attack annihilated the Earth. Twelve people survived and are about to rise up against the invaders.

 

The game is said to be a blend of a RPG and a third person shooter.

 

Kazushige Nojima, the scenario writer for the Glory of Heracles series and Final Fantasy VII, is the scenario writer for Black Rock Shooter: The Game. Kazuya Niinou who worked on Last Ranker is the game’s director.

 

Black Rock Shooter: The Game is slated for summer 2011 in Japan.

 

Imageepoch’s First Self Published Game Is Tale Of The Last Promise

Imageepoch, the developers of Luminous Arc, are taking their tactical RPG talents to PSP. Tale of the Last Promise is described as a dungeon RPG with a strategic command battle system.

 

A long time ago the world was full of magic. The world in Tale of the Last Promise has changed with machines eradicating wizards. In this desperate situation, a battle is about to begin. Famitsu says the main characters are said to be Wolf, Ceres, and their friend Rushdie.

 

Ryoei Mikage, the CEO of Imageepoch, is working on this game directly as the executive producer. Yosuke Uda who was on the Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Persona 3 team is the producer. Chinatsu Kuramoto is the character designer and GainGauge is the composer.

 

Tale of the Last Promise will be Imageepoch’s first self published game. The dark juvinelle fantasy is slated for April 28 in Japan.

  

Chevalier Tactics Is Set In Medieval Europe And Coming To PS3

Imageepoch has a PlayStation 3 title in development too, it’s called Chevalier Tactics. This game is set in medieval Europe with a knights and royalty motif. The main character in the game had his country invaded, now its up to you to guide a group of troops to reclaim your homeland.

 

Famitsu explains Chevalier Tactics has two gameplay modes. In simulation RPG mode you give out orders to a group of units. Network mode opens the game up for large scale battles.

 

Up top you can see some of the game’s jobs. From left to right we have: fighter, knight, and wizard.

 

Chevalier Tactics will be distributed as a PlayStation Network download at an unannounced date.
