Even if all the bums..i mean unemployed...killed themselves it wouldn't lower taxes. Governments would keep tax the same and keep the extra as surplus.
In Canada income tax was put in during the First World War as a way to raise money for the war and it was supposed to be taken out after the war finished...well 100 years later and we still pay income tax.
