yes, i meant that. imho, the gt franchise sold so well before was because its lack of competition on consoles plus the constant praise/hype from hard-core gamers. Again this game is hard-core, I know a number of people never able to acquire all licenses. I still remember when i first play gt, i couldn't even control the car at all and spin out every corner. at that time, i was like WTF and started playing NFS on PC instead. with a number of casual racing game available, a hash review on gt5 is quite expected to me.
EDIT: the racing genre has its own appeal to casuals btw as anyone can play racing games. but in GT, to achieve decent lap time, it's really hard and requires many practices to memorize the track and perfect driving skills. people should realize why gt gaves you a very slow car at the beginning of the career mode. and i know people are complaining it's too slow...
