Back in the PS2 days they had Timed/Exclusivity on GTA, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Tekken etc and now theyve lost it all to Xbox no wonder its struggling this gen. Now theres exclusives like Ratchet and Clank, theyre just ok games, theyre all pretty much identical and the franchise should have died a while ago. The last one only did a million. Socom 4 will flop because everyones into Call of Duty now. Yakuza is only big in Japan. Twisted Metal will be lucky to hit 1 million. Killzone 2 disappointed in sales, Killzone 3 wont be all that big. All its once big franchises its just lost except for GT, which is the only exclusive bigger than Xbox's Gears of War. God of War, Uncharted are doing well but compared to last gen its nothing all that special. The PS3 had L.A Noire its lost that, it could have a big hit with Final Fantasy Vs 13 and it could lose that, Kingdom Hearts 3 another surefire success itll probably lose that aswell. |
