I never could get into MOO2. Most of all because of the known tech tree. No sense of surprise, no chance involved, no make due with what we have (that is get the tech that I want from someone else if neede). Also, I waited many years to meet a guy who would beat MOO on impossible with 5 oponenets in a huge galaxy ( I still haven't done it yet, maybe I just suck), while MOO2 was beatable on the hardest equivalent.
So for me MOO >>>> MOO2. I still play it today, after 15 years.
