Oh, and yeah, I'm guilty of using Instant Watch much more than my discs.  I for some odd reason pay for BluRay access but I've had the same disc for the last 2-3 months and I use Instant Watch nearly every day.

I like having the option for the disc but I may just go for the instant only option.

This is essentially what Netflix is attempting to push/gently nudge its customers into doing. 

No inventory, no shipping costs (which they absorb as a part of the service), etc. That is a lot of excess they can trim away once they are able to transition to mostly if not all DD content.

For rental services, streaming simply makes more sense unless you happen to live next door to a RedBox.
