So which set does the best job at upscaling Wii graphics?

And slightly off topic, are there constellations where the video source, for example a DVD player or and 360/PS3 upscale a picture and then the TV will do that again, resulting in a complete mess? Or do they cooperate? I'm not very happy with my current Samsung and I don't want to spend another €1500 to find out that technology still isn't there.

In general, LCDs have the hardest time upscaling a signal properly (such as the Wii's 480p graphics). DLPs and plasmas can be better at it though you have to do research on each model because the quality varies greatly depending on make and model.

Nothing can touch a CRT for stuff like that but hardly anyone makes them anymore, which is too bad because they offer many qualities that other sets can't touch (black level, color saturation, no native resolution so SD looks as good as possible).
