Thinking about getting a HDTV, which ones do you recommend?

since you are in the UK you can get one of the panny 42" plasma screens for the top end of your budget. Ive seen the PX70 ones in the sames for 800 at a few places. I have the older model and its a great screen and widely regarded as the best budget plasma on the market.
