Thinking about getting a HDTV, which ones do you recommend?

Here in Sunny So. Cal. I just got a 58" Samsung 1080p DLP for $1699. Samsung makes a great DLP T.V. and the bulky back is gone.
I love it and it's much cheaper than LCD and Plasma.
